1972 Chinese Famille Juane Yellow Floral Enamel Jingdezhen China Sugar Bowl Lid

Vintage 1972 Chinese Porcelain Famille Juane Yellow Floral Enamel Jingdezhen Make Factory V, Double-Handle (2 Handles) China Sugar Bowl and Lid. The Design Features Arabesque Swirls, Famille Rose, Lotus and the Double Joy Good Fortune Stylized Chinese Character.

Note that while the bowl of the piece and lid are in excellent condition, there are a few areas on the handles that are missing the yellow enamel. I am not sure if they arrived this way from the factory or the few spots wore off over time from use. The porcelain under these spots is glossy and white.

Measures approx 7 3/4 inches wide including the handle and spout and 5 1/4 inches diameter around the pot, and 4 inches tall with the lid on.

My parents bought this item on a trip to Hong Kong in 1972 when our family lived in Seoul Korea - see the photo with my father’s handwriting from the box in which this and other dishes from the set were transported when my parents packed the items for a move in 1998.
